Pastor Debra "Deb" Domeier began serving as Interim Pastor at St. Paul's Lutheran Church on July 12, 2026.  She will serve in this role until our call process is completed and a full-time pastor is called.

Pastor Deb brings nearly 30 years of ordained ministry experience, having served congregations in Wisconsin, Ohio, and Illinois.  Since 2013, she has served as Senior Pastor of First Lutheran Church in Paxton, Illinois, and throughout her ministry has also served several congregations in interim roles.  Her gifts for ministry include worship leadership, Word and Sacrament ministry, pastoral care and visitation, Bible study, evangelism, outreach, and administration.

Pastor Deb describes herself as a Christ-centered pastor who is deeply committed to the authority of Scripture, faithful Lutheran teaching, and helping congregations grow in faith and mission.  She has a heart for pastoral care, discipleship, and building relationships within the congregation.  In addition to parish ministry, she has participated in mission work in Africa in Malawi, and remains committed to continuing education and theological study.
